Media Release – Statement by the Honourable Colm Imbert, MP, Minister of Finance on the Adjustment to Fuel Prices in the House of Representatives on Friday 8th April, 2022

Madame Speaker, I am authorised by the Cabinet to make this statement on fuel prices. At the time that the 2022 Budget Estimates were finalized in September 2021, the price of oil was just over US$70 per barrel. This price subsequently dropped to $65 per barrel at the end of November 2021.
