Media release – Minister of Finance Extends NIS Amnesty to January 31st, 2023
In accordance with the provisions of the amended National Insurance Act, Chap. 32:01, the Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, has extended the deadline for the payment of outstanding NIS contributions, without having to pay interest and/or penalties, from December 31st, 2022 to January 31st, 2023.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, wishes to announce a waiver of all taxes (Customs Duty, Online Purchase Tax and Value Added Tax) on CCTV cameras and DVRs used in CCTV systems, as stand-alone items.This tax waiver will take effect from January 1st, 2023.
