On March 22nd, 2023, the Honourable Colm Imbert, Minister of Finance warmly received Her Excellency Candace A. Bond, recently appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

This courtesy call facilitated formal introductions between the Honourable Minister and the US Ambassador, and centred on discussions of mutual interest to both countries.

The U.S. Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Donna Kay Backburn, US Department of Treasury Office of Technical Assistance, Ms. Megan Kelly, Political and Economic Chief and Mr. Carl Jaigobind, Customs and Border Protection Attache.
