On June 25th, 2020, the Hon Colm Imbert, Minister of Finance and Mr. Gianpiero Leonici, Director Representative for CAF Development Bank of Latin America signed a loan agreement. The loan aims to strengthen T&T’s capacity to respond to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, through direct financial resources and the recognition of expenses and investments aimed at mitigating the impact of the pandemic in the health of the population.
